It’s time to talk about the structure of the OSB plate. They are made of large wooden chips (some chips are reached up to 18-20 cm in length, and their width is in the range of 4-6 mm). The wood component is connected to a monolithic layer using a binder, as which the manufacturing companies use resins of a special composition (there is phenol, urea and a small amount of formaldehyde). To increase the resistance of the product to moisture, wax of synthetic origin is introduced into the composition.
