The works of another worker-innovator- fiberglass Sergei Ivanovich Korolev, whose inventive talent was revealed during the first five-year plan- are now published not only in our country, but also translated into Czech, Polish and other European languages. More than eighty inventions for glass production he proposed. Just like Smirnov, he had to enter into a dispute with the venerable representatives of the “big” science of glass and also his ideas, backed up by deep knowledge of production, the properties of the material, brought success. In the early fulfillment of the tasks of five -year -olds, the contributions and hundreds of other inventors and innovators, brought up and supported by the party, inspired by grandiose intentions and achievements of the world’s first socialist state.
