In the Soviet Union, the use of dry construction mainly consisted in the device of gypsum interior partitions and the production of gypsum ceiling plates. Of course, there were pompous stucco ceilings in the Baroque style, and the architecture of small forms (“Girl with the oar”, “Pioneer with a mountain”, “Stakhanovets with a junk hammer”), but basically it concerned either administrative and public buildings, or Elite housing of Soviet society. In this regard, a case of life is recalled: the village apertor of one of the party leaders came to the capital and spent the night with a high -ranking relative. The villain was placed in a hall decorated with a rich stucco. In the middle of the night, the peasant woke up and thought for a long time at which station he found himself, since he saw such splendor finishes only at the central railway stations.
