Varnishes are produced both solid — directly ready for use — and composite ones (you can add a coloring pigment in them). If you do not have a lot of experience in repair, you can debug a small and not too necessary trinket with clean varnish to look at the result. Usually for aesthetic qualities it is necessary at least two layers of varnish, or even three. The next stage of varnish skill is to give products a new shade. It is more reasonable to carry out this stage in two steps — first with special compounds (they are called «stains»), process the tree, and after drying, evaluate the color. If there is not enough saturation, the procedure is repeated. And only then can be directly covered with varnish. The use of composite varnishes requires already known experience. However, following the described scheme, it is not difficult to purchase it!
